Overview
Ellie Jones is an empathetic and dedicated family law solicitor at Grant Stephens Family Law, known for her attention to detail and understanding approach to her clients. Ellie joined the firm in May of 2026 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in July 2026.
Training
After graduating with a 2:1 in Law from Cardiff University in 2022, Ellie completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC), also at Cardiff University, gaining valuable practical experience alongside her studies through a variety of work experience placements and part time positions at a Family Law firm in Port Talbot.
Following the completion of her studies, Ellie was offered a full time position at the Port Talbot firm, where she developed broad experience across both private and public family law matters, including private children proceedings, divorce and financial remedy work. Ellie commenced her training contract in October 2024, completing 18 months at her previous firm before transferring to Grant Stephens Family Law to complete the remainder of her contract.
Alongside her professional development, Ellie has demonstrated a strong commitment to access to justice, having advised clients on a pro bono basis at Legal Clinics and volunteered with Citizens Advice.

Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys running. She recently completed the Caerphilly 10K and is currently training for a half marathon.
Ellie also enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family
