On Thursday, 24th June 2025, six of our solicitors, joined by five esteemed guests, attended the 30th Arts & Business Awards at the ICC Wales. This prestigious event celebrates the powerful partnerships between businesses and the arts, with awards such as Arts, Business and Community, Arts, Business and Diversity, and Arts, Business and Employees recognising outstanding collaboration.
Having supported and participated in Arts & Business partnerships for many years, we were incredibly proud to be shortlisted for three awards this year:
- Arts, Business and Diversity – for our partnership with Hijinx Theatre in support of their 2024 Unity Festival
- Arts, Business and Employees – in collaboration with Act Now Creative Training
- Business of the Year
We are delighted to share that we won the ‘Arts, Business and Employees’ award, recognising our impactful partnership with Act Now Creative Training. Based in Cardiff, Act Now delivers creative training and workshops that harness the power of the arts to boost confidence, communication, and personal growth.
Last year, our team participated in a dynamic workshop led by Act Now’s Creative Director, Adrienne O’Sullivan. The session explored personal impact through drama-based techniques and included monologue performances, partner exercises, and even a desert island challenge. These activities encouraged self-reflection, improved team communication, and built confidence in client-facing and networking scenarios. Each participant also received a one-on-one follow-up session to personalise the learning and embed the new skills effectively.
Our team found the experience incredibly rewarding, with many noticing an immediate improvement in their professional confidence and interpersonal skills.
“Act Now were delighted to work with the highly skilled team at Grant Stephens Family Law. Act Now has worked with many diverse organisations in the public, private, third sector and the arts. Delivering training at three of the top 10 Welsh businesses. Winning awards with and for our business partners through innovative bespoke training packages. It was really exciting to win the Arts, Business and Employee Award at the 30th Awards ceremony with GSFL.

The training included a day full of learning and fun which was made even more enjoyable due to the camaraderie and close-knit team. The day was focussed on enhancing networking skills and confidently sharing the great offer they have for clients. We followed up with one-to-one sessions for everyone to embed the learning in a significant personal way. We are thrilled this training was recognised for its powerful outcomes for staff.”
The awards evening itself was a fantastic celebration – full of inspiring stories, excellent food, and wonderful company. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Arts & Business Cymru for organising such a meaningful event and for their continued support and work that truly make a difference.
